Fred Rogers once said, “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”
Together, Forest Park Forever, The Magic House, St. Louis County Library, St. Louis Public Library and Spire, are hosting the second annual free event for St. Louis families called Play Day in the Park.
Play Day in the Park event will be held in Forest Park on June 1, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Activities fit for a kid
Children can explore a many engaging activities, from bubble play and outdoor art to parachute games, sports and STEM Lab explorations.
