Congratulations to Joe Hampton on being the recipient of the Shelby County NAACP 2022 Man of the Year Award. The award, presented on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, pays homage to Dr. King's march for voting, civil and human rights.
"To be acknowledged by an organization that continues to build on Dr. King’s dream is very humbling," Joe said. "I strive every day to make sure those around me feel included and appreciated for who they are and the potential they have, that’s just the way I was raised.
"My parents taught my siblings and me the importance of giving back, and our company reinforces the lesson of us uplifting those who have less than us. I know that if we all lean in and do the same, regardless of race, nationality or gender, we will continue to make our communities and this world a kinder place."
